AllSaints jacket. The color, the cut, the zippers — love everything about this jacket! And it will perfectly transition to spring!
i dig you sweater. A baggy casual top with a cheeky message. Cute, colorful, and relaxed for the new year.

Aj’s obsessions
Dr. Dennis Gross Eye Serum. You probably saw on last week’s 3v3 I posted about these peel pads. Well, I also bought this eye cream. I’m on week 2 of using all my new face products! Fingers crossed I look amazing soon 😉
Let’s get lost tee. I love a good, basic tshirt. Spiritual Gangster is also one of my fav shops/brands.
Akemi + Kin Embroidered Dress. Love the pattern, colors, and shape of this Anthro dress!

[hello beautiful sweater in white and black]
I recently had the pleasure of meeting Kelleigh Browd who introduced me to Rodan + Fields skincare. I was familiar with Drs. Rodan and Fields from their Proactive line for acne, but I didn’t realize they’d launched a line for aging skin!

Aj and I tried out the REDEFINE line for treating lines, pores, and loss of firmness. Aj’s still in her 20s and not as concerned with lines or firmness, but I’m knocking on 40 and will take all the help I can get!

The little sample packet we received had a cleansing mask, night renewing serum, and lip renewing serum.

We clearly had some fun with the cleansing mask! It’s a daily cleansing mask, but you only leave it on for a couple of minutes – so not as time consuming as it sounds. The lip renewing serum though was my favorite of the bunch! I feel like my lips are perpetually dry, and the serum worked great!!
As Rodan+Fields says – “We are all aging all the time, but what that looks like is up to you.” If you have questions about the line, check out Kelleigh’s website here!

Ash’s obsessions

nike sneakers. New year, renewed workout plans. You know how it goes. And nothing motivates like a new pair of shoes!
mac lipstick. Sooo want this color! The “half-n-half” color is the one I’m currently obsessing over and it is formulated to be ultra creamy and highly pigmented with a soft shine.
AG legging jeans. I’ve been wearing AG jeans for years and generally love them. The legging version is great for wearing with all the OTK boots that are so hot this season!
Aj’s obsessions

Alpha Beta Peel Pads. Ok… confession. Until this year (yes a few days ago) I never really washed my face. Just used the shampoo or body wash and put some on my face while in the shower. Well…this year I’ve decided to actually take care of my skin. Starting with these. More on my new skincare routine to come and hopefully some awesome before and afters!
Workout leggings. Workout leggings to go with everyone’s new year’s resolutions- cute, comfy, and only $35! Yes, please.
Sequin Pencil Skirt. I won’t ever be over sequins- so a sequin pencil skirt is a must in my closet. You can wear it with a blouse to dress it up or a casual tshirt for a fun edgy look!
Alright you guys- It’s officially 2018! I am spending my first day of the new year starting our 18+ hour drive back to Utah… BUT it has given me a ton of time to reflect on this fresh start of a year. I hope you caught ash’s resolutions from last year and I loved it so much I’m going to use it as an outline for mine this year.

“Happiness results from having someone to love, something to do, and something to look forward to”
My goal: Finding joy & happiness by avoiding negative energy & thoughts.
1: love. I am not great at showing people how much I care about them. I have a sis in law who is AMAZING at this and is always thinking of how she can help someone/be there for someone etc. It is not a skill that comes easily to me. If someone asks me- I’m there but just doing it on my own- not so much. So, this year- I’m going to try to be better at this!
2: something to do. I love projects. I constantly have 50 things going. Having something you are working on gives you a sense of purpose and when you accomplish it – makes you feel amazing. So, whether it is something small or big- plan a project. Mine this year, as you probably can guess from reading here, is to get faster/in shape and run another marathon.
3: looking forward. This can be something that is happening tonight or 6 months from now. Take them all in! Don’t just look at the thinks so far in the future- enjoy all the little things along the way. This could be something as simple as scheduling special date nights once a week, or every other to look forward to or as big as a fun trip overseas! I am hoping to do both of these this next year. Make plans- put them on your calendar and get excited about them!
I am going to touch more on finding joy and happiness in posts to come because I think it is something we could all use a little more of! I have a podcast that I listen to about once a month (yes, the same one) because I find it so amazing… stay tuned!
Until then- what are your resolutions? Share them with us!
Cheers!
