lace midi dress.  This dress looks waaaay more expensive than its $135 price tag!  And the color can easily be worn year round.  Beautifully femme!

blue lace dress.  Currently on sale for $53… !?!!?!!  I may need this.

wonderglow.  The name says it all.  It’s a miracle face primer/moisturizer and I cannot wait to get my hands on some!

Nike Windbreaker Jacket. This is a great fall transitional workout jacket. Love the simplicity of it. It comes in black and red.

Velvet Dress. I just love velvet for the holidays- it was popular last year and the trend seems to have just gotten stronger this year! And check out that deep wine color!

FP Lofty Sweater. Basic but perfect sweater. Love the v-neck, the perfect slouch, and the pretty color.

October fun

It’s October!! Which means it’s time to start thinking all things HALLOWEEN!! I haven’t come up with food/treats I’m going to make this year for the halloween holiday- but, if you need some great ones- check out my post from last year! So many yummy, cute, and good treats & food for the holiday! I promise to have some new ones your way soon!

manolo blahnik at kampa

Manolo Blahnik:  The Art of Shoes is on exhibit through November 12, 2017 at Museum Kampa in Prague!  We’re in Czech for a couple weeks and when I saw a poster for the exhibit I simply had to go.

I have owned several pair of manolos over the years, but I had no idea that Manolo Blahnik’s dad was Czech!

The amount of time, energy, and craftsmanship that goes into designing and making the shoes is incredible.

And apparently I’ve been buying all the wrong manolos… the designer has a real passion for whimsy– and here I’ve been buying the practical wear-with-everything black  and nude versions!

Ash’s obsessions

Invisibobble.  Best hairband ever.  I picked these up at a duty free shop on a recent layover and OMG!!! I am kinda bummed I didn’t discover them sooner.  I have relatively thin/fine hair and was worried they wouldn’t hold — but they are simply amazing.  If you haven’t tried them — do it now!

Manolos.  Earlier this week I went to the Manolo Blahnik exhibit at the Museum Kampa in Prague, and I am so in love with Manolo right now!  Did you know his dad was Czech?!

Kimono dress.  Love the colors and fit of this floral midi.  Pair it with stockings and boots or booties for cooler weather, and sandals or stilettos for spring and summer.

Free People Sweatpants. I have last year’s version of these and I wear them ALL THE TIME. I love them.

More to love top. What a pretty white blouse. Everyone needs a top like this in their closet. You can dress it up or down- with jeans or skirts.

Sequin detail cardigan. For only $64 this would be a fun little cardigan to have in your closet! Dress up a plain white tee in the best way possible- with sequins!

makeup bag essentials

I am no makeup artist- and I honestly hate anything that takes too long or too many products to perfect BUT, I thought I would share what is in my makeup bag and why I love it.IMG_3745.JPGI don’t use any fancy creams, or face washes- I honestly rarely wash my face (insert your squealing eww here) other than just the soap that hits my face in the shower. My skin is super sensitive and I’ve found the less I baby it- the better it behaves.

So, on that note: my makeup bag:

Buxom Luminizer 

I spread this quickly all over my face with just my fingers

Smashbox concealer

For those dark circles under my eyes, and just around my mouth to keep lipstick/glosses from getting weird smudge marks

Bronzer

I have two in my bag- either this Mac one or this Anastasia one. Use it under the cheekbones, jaw line, and any other place you want.

Anastasia Eyebrow pencil

Until I can get in to get my microblading done- this has been my go to.

BareMinerals Eyeshadows

These are the only ones my sensitive eyes can handle. I have them in a few different colors and love them

BareMinerals Eyeliner

Love it. Again, only one that doesn’t seem to break my eyelid out into a weird rash and swell up. My favorite is the plum color but it is hard to find…

Eyelash curler

They don’t sell mine anymore so I’m holding on to it for as long as I can. I’ve heard good things about this one though…

Diorshow Waterproof Mascara

I love this mascara- and yes, I wear waterproof everyday. It is the only way my stick straight eyelashes will hold any curl.

Lipgloss/Lipstick

As for lip glosses, I love these, and this one. As for lipsticks, you can’t go wrong with these or these.
