Ash’s obsessions

lace midi dress.  This dress looks waaaay more expensive than its $135 price tag!  And the color can easily be worn year round.  Beautifully femme!

blue lace dress.  Currently on sale for $53… !?!!?!!  I may need this.

wonderglow.  The name says it all.  It’s a miracle face primer/moisturizer and I cannot wait to get my hands on some!

 

Aj’s obsessions

Nike Windbreaker Jacket. This is a great fall transitional workout jacket. Love the simplicity of it. It comes in black and red.

Velvet Dress. I just love velvet for the holidays- it was popular last year and the trend seems to have just gotten stronger this year! And check out that deep wine color!

FP Lofty Sweater. Basic but perfect sweater. Love the v-neck, the perfect slouch, and the pretty color.

falling for sweaters (under $50!)

Fall is officially here, and I am soooo in the mood for some budget friendly sweaters.  I love love LOVE me some luxe cashmere, but as a new mom I’m learning that babies spit up… like a lot… a lot a lot.  :-/

Currently on a layover in Germany, I just survived my first flight with an infant (high 10 emoji!).  And I feel like I played paintball with puke pellets.  It’s in my hair, on my arm, my pants, and even my shoe.  Next time I’ll put a change of clothes in my carryon — including one (or two!) of these sweaters —

Ash’s obsessions

This week we got (yet another) bill for our ongoing house remodel… so I’m in the mood for a bargain… and I found some GREAT ones!!

Ruffle sweater.  I recently bought this sweater in gray, and now I’m thinking I might need the pink one too.  I mean, they’re only $25 !?!!  ps.  I sized down for a tighter fit.
Jumpsuit.  I am loving this jumpsuit for Fall.  I totally plan to wear it with sweaters and blouses to the office, and a t-shirt around town.  And right now its on mega sale!  I got mine for $30 !!!
Feminine dress.  Cannot wait to wear this!!  It is such a fun little fall dress, and only $35 ?!!

 

Aj’s obsessions

Ruffle hem knit dress. Talk about comfy! It has all the things I love- comfy, grey, drop waist, high low skirt- and $35. I’m sold.

New Balance 520 sneakers. It’s no secret I love sneakers- and the color of these are perfection.

Tiered hem tee. This is the perfect ‘I’ve eaten too many donuts this week’, or ‘I just had a baby’ tee! The placement of those ruffles are ideal!

links I’m loving

With baby only a few days away, I’m trying to distract myself with how uncomfortable I am by scouting the internet for links I’m loving. Here’s a few I’ve found!

  1. I can’t wait to be able to wear pretty dresses again like this lace one, and this lace one. Then, this one just looks comfy and cute!
  2. Love the message on this shirt. and the simple yet pretty floral design on this one.
  3. One last swimsuit for the season to lust over! $69!
  4. Cozy cardigans are my thing. Love this extra long one– and the colors are perfection.
  5. My pregnant feet need these cozy shoes.

Ash’s obsessions

September is here (actually, it’s almost halfway over!?!) and I am in the mood for some fall sweaters!

Stripe sweater.  Simple and classic.  Pair it with jeans, skirts, cutoffs – literally goes with everything!

Boatneck sweater.  Love the relaxed vibe and bold color of this one.  Looks so cozy!

Ruffle sweater.  Neutral color and girlie ruffles- yes, please!!

 

Aj’s obsessions

Nike Crop top. The perfect top to throw on over your tank when you’re leaving the gym- or running to the store and haven’t quite made it to the shower/get dressed part of your day yet!

Numerical Dress. I can’t quite put my finger on why I like this dress- but I do. Probably because it is just so unique!

Color block one-piece swimsuit. I clearly can’t get over the fact that summer is over! I keep finding cute swimsuits!

new favorite jeans!!!

Shopping for jeans has always been difficult for me.  Finding that right fit can be   so    effing   frustrating.    grrr…..

So when I do find a pair I love, there is much rejoicing!  And this week I discovered the AG Isabelle in the ‘8 years infamy’ wash, and they are going to be a staple in my fall wardrobe.

  And you know what’s even better?  I happened to find them on sale here in my size! YAY!  And available directly from AG here.

These jeans are amazing because:  1.  they’re high-waist which is totally on trend right now,  2.  the crop length shoes off your shoes and can be worn with flats, heels, and everything in-between,  3. the placement of the butt pockets is high enough to prevent that droopy ass look,  4.  they have a slight stretch for a great fit, and 5.  the ‘8 years infamy’ has a little of the distressed look around the front pockets to be cool, but the finished hem and lack of knee holes keeps them classy enough for casual Friday at the office.

AHHHH!!! LOVE!!

If you do want more of a distressed look, the AG Isabelle also comes in the ’23 years wind worn’ wash and they are equally as incredible.
