Anthro spring fashion show

I was able to attend the Anthro spring Fashion show at City Creek (Utah) last week. Margot (@houseofoleary) and I went together and were able to see some of the new pretty, bright spring looks they have in store right now! Bonus- it was International Women’s Day!

Now, I wasn’t in the best spot to capture amazing pics- but lucky for me, Shauna with ‘chic over 50‘ was in the show (and a total babe!) and wrote an amazing post about it – plus took some great pics! (that’s her in the first pic, top left!)

Here are some of my current new anthro favs:

Ash’s obsessions

screen-shot-2017-01-10-at-6-51-50-pm

This week I’m completely obsessed with everyday feminine pieces that can be dressed up or down.

Anthropologie Christianne Flats.  Flattering cutouts and Art-Deco inspired crystals.  Perfection.

Jennie Kwon Arch Ring.  Yellow gold, green sapphire, and diamonds all packed into a dainty little ring.  It’s love at first sight.

Topshop Spot Flute Sleeve Top.  Super cute playful dot print with fluttery sleeves.  A perfectly feminine piece to transition from work to play.

Adidas Originals Samba Sneakers. These are my family’s go-to sneaker. We all have a pair! Takes me back to my soccer days.

Madewell Leather Crossbody Bag. This all leather bag comes in black and brown and is the perfect size for every day wear. I also won’t buy a purse unless it is a crossbody and at under $150, it’s a winner!

Parker Cardigan. I love cardigans. I throw them on with anything and everything. Love the length, knit, and colors of this one!

Ghd Curve Soft Curl.  My longtime curling iron bit the dust a few months ago and I replaced it with this magical one.  Every time I use it I am still amazed by how fast it heats up.  Absolutely love it.

Ray-Ban Mirrored Flash Aviators.  I have been wanting a pair of mirrored sunglasses for nearly a year now, and I’m still obsessed with all things gold, so these may be the ones!

Free People Cozy Up On Me Embroidered Top.  Loving the girlie details on this vintage inspired top.  And it transitions well from work to play!  Must get for 2017 closet…

Screen Shot 2017-01-04 at 9.34.44 AM.pngAnthro Crocheted Maxi Dress. I have this dress in nude and it is one of my favorites. The detailing on it is so pretty. Plus, I love that I can dress it up or down depending on my shoe & accessories.

Marble Wall Clock. I love all things marble. I can’t resist. When I saw this at target last week I snagged it for one of the bare walls in my house. Simple, classic, gold & marble- For less than $15- how can you turn it down?!

Nike Roshe Two Sneaker. It’s January- which means I bet most of you, like me, created some sort of fitness resolution. Well, nothing gets me motivated more than a new shoe to wear while working out!

Ash’s obsessionsScreen Shot 2016-12-21 at 8.37.14 AM.png‘Pomeline’ Crystal Necklace. This would make a gorgeous necklace for Christmas, NYE, or any time after that. The jewel tones and detailing make it the perfect statement necklace.

Anthropologie Pommed Lodge Beanie. You saw Aj wear it in our Anthro 40% off sale post, and it sold out quickly! Now its back, and on sale again. So, I snagged one myself.

Catherine Skirt. As you have seen here, I am loving velvet right now. This skirt is no exception. The great navy color with black velvet floral and dramatic high low detail is perfect for the holidays.

Aj’s obsessionsScreen Shot 2016-12-21 at 8.16.12 AM.pngGreylin Faux Fur Coat. I love how different this jacket is! Plus, the soft color looks great with anything.

Ted Baker Dress. I have been obsessed with this dress for awhile. Now, it is on sale! The gold, neat print, cap sleeve, and cute shape make it a win in my book.

Scallop Edge Lace Top. Everyone needs a gorgeous lace top. Dress it up or down- it completes the outfit – no need to hunt around for jewelry or something to add! Did I mention it is under $80!? It comes in white and black.

Now, several items we snagged and loved are no longer available online {just in the time it took us to get home and type this up}, BUT they had tons of them in store- Things like the hat, jacket I’m wearing above, and the green dress I am wearing below:

So, order a few things online that you want to make sure don’t sell out, then head to your nearest anthro store and stock up on the rest!

Black Friday Sales!

You know from here that I will be hitting up the sales Thursday night in an attempt to check off some items on my kiddo’s Christmas lists- and come Friday, my daughter and I will grab Nana and head out for some shopping! The son and husband would prefer to occupy anything BUT a mall. Here are a few of the stops I will make in my Thursday/Friday shopping extravaganza!

You can find most everything in the above pics at the stores having sales, below!

Beckam’s outfit: old navy | My sweater: juniper lemons. | My dress: asos (see 3v3) | Beckam’s nursery animal heads: anthropologie. Crib sheet: lwph, | Couch throw, pillow, candle, mug, plates, serving board: anthropologie | Hadley’s jammies & kitchenaid mixer: target | My leggings: juniper lemons. Slippers & dyson cordless vacuum: target. Owl, tree skirt, grey pouf, moroccan pillow: west elm

Target. This will be my first stop. TV’s, BOGO 1/2 off toys, Dyson’s $150-200 off, Kitchenaid mixers $70 off, and 30% off all apparel, accessories and shoes for the family- it better be your first stop as well!

West Elm. When you walk in to my home, you can pretty much bet that everything you see is from one of four places- and West Elm is one of those places. They are having a buy more, save more sale this year! 15% off $100. 20% off $500. 25% off $1,000. 30% off $3,000. It’s the time to buy the stuff you’ve been eyeing all year!

ASOS. UPDATE: 30% off everything! Now, ASOS has not released their official sale announcement yet, but I could not skip them- Last year they did 20% off everything. I bought my Christmas dress, a New Years outfit, and my Easter dress during the sale last year. Load up your cart now and come Friday, apply the code (rumor has it, it will be 20-30%) and you won’t have to think about finding a holiday outfit for the next several holidays!

Old Navy & Gap. These two are some of my go-to’s for my kid’s clothes. They have some of the cutest clothes and at such great prices already- throw on the Black Friday 50% off EVERYTHING and it’s a no-brainer where I will be on Friday with a cart full of kids clothes.

AnthropologieNeed I say more? You know Anthro is a favorite of both Ashley and myself- and last year, they did not disappoint. This year everything is 30% off! It starts today! I prefer to go in-store on Black Friday so that is where you will find me! I already have my list of items.

And, of course, don’t miss the first ever Juniper Lemons Black Friday sale! 25% off EVERYTHING!!
* don’t forget about Jcrew! We posted about their sale here.
