ootd: leopard dress

Today I met up with some girlie friends for brunch –  always a GREAT time!  And I wore one of my new fave fall dresses.  What makes it so great?  For starters, it’s less than $35!!?!?!! And the ruffle details, and bold yellow color… love…

I paired it with my Chloe booties (they go with literally everything… and for the price they should… #amiright…  less expensive options here), Marc by Marc Jacobs bag (old, but similar here), and a bold red lip (in color:  “lady balls”)

After brunch I took advantage of the warm weather and walked up to Union Square.  I popped into H&M and OMG they’ve got some fun stuff out right now!… but that’s more for another post 😉

And almost forgot the nails!  This week I’m wearing “That’s what friends are Thor” with a matte top coat.  It is the color of yummy chocolate… perfect for fall and Halloween!

ootd ASOS maternity

Asos was a life-saver this last pregnancy for me- and I think Ash would say the same for hers. They have great maternity stuff at super affordable prices- which is a must for me when I have a really hard time spending money on something that I am only going to fit in for a short amount of time.

Ash’s obsessions

skull pullover.  Perfect sweater for spooky October, or anytime really.

OPI polish.  The color is “That’s What Friends Are Thor”.  I had a gel mani this past week and this is the color I chose, and I topped with with a matte top coat.  It reminds me of the inside of an M&M and is super yummy for fall!

Spanx faux leather leggings.  I bought these on the strong recommendation of @houseofoleary and I am so glad I did!

 

Aj’s obsessions

Vero Moda Velvet Blazer. I am obsessed with velvet these days. The color of this one makes it even more perfect for the holidays.

H&M Coat. What a great coat for under $50! Love the ‘khaki green’ color- but it also comes in dark gray and pink!

Frye Dorado Boots. You can’t ever go wrong with Frye boots. They last forever, are comfortable- and always cute.

dress delivery! lace love

I am currently OBSESSED with girlie girl dresses, and the more lace the better!  If you follow us on insta-stories, then you know I had a dress delivery this week (YASSSS!).  These dresses are beautiful, and ALL LESS THAN $100!!  – so I’m sharing the deets on how to get your own!

Blue lace midi.  This dress is currently on sale at Asos (here) for $53!!  (originally $88)  Sizes were limited when I last checked though.  The dress is also available here for $88, but note that the lace and color are slightly different (same brand though).

Red lace dress.  This dress is only $62?!  More details here.  So cute, and the perfect color for fall and upcoming holidays.

Ash’s obsessions

suede booty.  Comfy heel and neutral suede to go with pretty much everything this fall!

big tote.  Simple and timeless.  This tote is the perfect size for weekend trips, shopping expeditions, toting diaper bag stuffs plus your own essentials, etc.  This is a practical bag that you’ll keep forever.

suede jacket.  I love this jacket!  I have it in green and the cut and weight is simply perfect for throwing on over a graphic tee.

 

Aj’s obsessions

Sorel Tofino boot. I didn’t buy these last year- but considering this will be my first full winter here in Utah- I think I need them.

Levi’s Sherpa Trucker Jacket. This is a fun jacket to transition into winter. I love anything with sherpa.

Checkered Button-down shirt. Love the shape of this blouse. I don’t like stiff button down shirts- and this one is just the opposite. Plus, under $60.

links I’m loving

I’m finding that all the links I’m loving are more loose fitting, shift type dresses and tops!

  1. This top and this one are perfect for my post-baby pooch. Not to mention easy on the csection incision.
  2. Love the arm detailing on this pretty long sleeve top. Also, who doesn’t love cashmere !?
  3. Don’t know where I would wear this dress right now… but I’m going to find a place!
  4. This is a fun dress! Probably not going to be wearing it any time soon- but I sure like it.
  5. I might need to dress up my sweatpants a bit since they are all I seem to be wearing lately- these seem to fit the bill. Nothing like some silk to take something from slouchy to nice!
